Our single sunflower keeps a bit of summer in the garden (we got the seed from #PurdueSpringFest back in April). Did you know that the large ray florets at the outer ring are sterile? Or that the number of disc florets at the center can be up to 2,000?

First #Purduespringfest was a hit! Piper had her picture on display that won 2nd place in the coloring contest for 1st graders. ποΈ We saw Mr. Fleetwood and CP alum Tatum Neal. Then we took part in a lot of fun activities.
