Last week we took part in the #RN1TonneChallenge and swept the Barry Island beach. We managed to collect nearly 10kg of litter and rubbish from the beach, with lots of people engaging and chatting with us and a few even joined in. A good afternoon for a good cause.

A Wellington boot, flipflop, crisp, sweet, ice cream and chocolate bar wrappers, bottles, fishing lines, bag of dog poo & a condom were among many items (12.7kgs) gathered from beaches on the Lizard #Cornwall by Royal Navy sailors last week First Sea Lord #RN1TonneChallenge
