The Rail to Refuge scheme was introduced by all train operators during the first lockdown and figures show that four survivors a day, on average, have used the lifesaving scheme so far.

This morning, The Duchess met station manager Darren O’Brien at Victoria Station to discuss the #RailToRefuge scheme.
🚂 The initiative, coordinated by Rail Delivery Group and Women's Aid, helps people to escape domestic abuse and reach a safe refuge quickly and free of charge.
