This is incredible footage.

Watch the bottom of the smoke plumb at around second :15. You can see when the fire reaches the bottom of a large slope and then races up it, spawning a huge updraft and thunderstorm.

Two strike teams—Team 3/Linn County & Team 10/Clackamas County, who have been at the 3,768-acre #RanchFire near Red Bluff, CA—have demobilized and are returning to OR today. Tomorrow three more demobilize/return to OR: Team 8/Lane County, Team 9/WA County, Team 11/Yamhill County.
