I just got my #ChronicPain diagnosed and my recommended treatment plan is 6 weeks of physical therapy, nsaids, TaiChi, acupuncture, massage, and swimming

Since it's #PainAwarenessMonth I decided to share my #RealPainStories .

It started as a child, ive always been in pain. No one believed me and said it was just growing pains. Would always complain on my knees hurting and couldn't do any sports.

Y'all never get to see the day-to-day me.

I asked my friend, Denice, to snap this today when she was over to take my trash out. No posing, no premise, nothing to show but my boring experience in an acute 7-9 pain flare.

Intractable pain isn't always a grimace.

In 2009 I had to stop my Masters program. Brain fog & #Chronicpain was just too much. I also have #Dyslexia & most didn’t think I’d graduate high school. But I did graduate with a Masters Diploma.
