To have your name written in heaven as a believer is a greater exploit in the spirit than being able to cast out devils, or even manifest the gifts of the Spirit.

While it is good to do miracles and have gifts of the Spirit, our excitement should increase for the laws of God being written in our hearts (Heb. 10:16) rather than just being able to do miracles and mighty works (Matt. 7:22).

Tongues and prophecies can edify the soul, but the gift of working miracles cannot. The gift of the working of miracles touches the body, but there is a greater miracle that a soul can experience by the ministry of the utterance gifts.

A newly born-again believer should not claim to be called to ministry because he has the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit. There is a difference between performing miracles & leading souls which is the primary work of the five-fold ministry.

Intentionally operating the gifts of the Spirit will open the soul to the influence of evil spirits. Even after the Holy Spirit has given you His gifts, they are still His to operate, not yours. It should be manifested as the Spirit wills.
