Day 4 of our saga. Not our chair in pic - but at 7th attempt we at least managed to hire one! So today was easier. And yes EasyJet now messaging and calling. (Haven't found our chair - yet.) Thanks to all for your ongoing support, without which etc. etc.

Read down. The response from americanair calls her missing wheelchairs as an inconvenience. Where is the outrage that they immobilized someone for hours? This is pathetic but not unusual. The punishment should be immobilizing the CEO for the same amount of time. #RightsOnFlights
If non-disabled people received the same treatment we do when flying, there would be an outcry.

This is despicable and heart breaking. I’d like to do that to their car and see how they feel about it then. Many wheelchairs cost the same as a small car, but that’s only the financial impact of the damage done. Imagine having your legs smashed to bits #RightsOnFlights

Whether it’s having our #MobilityAids broken, being treated like inanimate objects, being humiliated, or not having our access needs met, it happens a lot.
