Today is World Aids Day!
We have a once in a lifetime opportunity to end the HIV epidemic for good, but we must also continue fighting the stigma still experienced by people living with HIV.

In the UK, more than 105,000 people are living with #HIV , yet many still face discrimination in work, housing, education & healthcare. This #WorldAIDSDay I'm proud to #RockTheRibbon against stigma & in support of a better quality of life for those living with HIV.
2/2 But thankfully, things have changed, we now have effective treatment. This #WorldAIDSDay we can spread the message of U=U, ensure that medication is available equally to all including PrEP and edge closer to the aim of no new transmissions by 2030. #RockTheRibbon
Today I remember my magnificent friend Simon Kennett (in blue) who died of AIDS in 1997. I’m proud to stand alongside those many people living (often thriving) with HIV as they lead the fight for HIV rights, against stigma and to end the epidemic. #RockTheRibbon #WorldAIDSDay
We were proud to #RockTheRibbon at last night’s performance of I Should Be So Lucky, to support the work of National AIDS Trust this #WorldAIDSDay2023 .
