Its merits brief was filed *seven hours* late. And its new supplemental brief was filed 12 minutes late.

It's hardly the end of the world, but it's very hard to imagine that DOJ would get away with this...

right now sb4 in texas is on the ropes -- it's the law that says the police can ask for papers from anybody in texas (latin/latina/latinx).

even if trump gets elected this is supreme court level sh*t to allow this legalized papers/rounding up thing.
