Great first day in frailty SDEC the team were really happy to launch and get the patients into the right place to receive assessment and treatment, learning as we go along what’s working well and not so well and how to make rapid improvement #SDEC #frailty

Frailty SDEc is live. First pts are in the SDEC unit and likely to go home today. Twice daily huddles focus the full team on what went well, even better if… and ideas to address any issues raised that day #kaizen #betterneverstops

We are supporting the frailty SDEC #PDSA and we look forward to seeing the benefits for staff and patients.

Ambulatory care and SDEC services have mitigated the crisis in urgent and emergency care. Unimaginable how much worse things would have been without it. There is scope for further improvement but it is not a 'magic bullet' that will solve current crisis.

Still at hospital having had the worst experience ever South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust in SDEC where my disabled daughter was called Crap by a stroppy nurse

Thankfully the wonderful PALs team are trying to sort out for my daughter to be seen given we have been in the hospital 5hrs & not listened too
