CSOs recognize government efforts to align tax policies with development plans but they have raise concerns about potential negative impacts, such as over-reliance on indirect taxes affecting the poor.

However,we have concerns about certain proposals,such as the taxation of non-business assets, extension of tax exemptions to private equity and venture capital funds, and introduction of tax exemptions on income from government security disposal. #TaxJusticeUG
