We used the last remaining hours before departure for a beach clean at one of our study sites, Stone Coral Garden. It takes a 1 h hike to get there, so it is out of reach of most cleaning activities #SOES6052 Thailand Fieldcourse OceanEarthUniSoton University of Southampton

The time has come to get ready to go home! We used our last morning to walk up to one of our survey sites, Stone Coral Garden and do a beach clean, collecting lots of polystyrene, washed up flip flops, and fishing gear 🐙 #SOES6052 University of Southampton

And the afternoon session ended with Grace, Lottie and Laura delivering a presentation on why some clams bore into rock, and others don’t! We had a really informative afternoon learning about all the things we’ve seen in action on the reef! #SOES6052 University of Southampton
