Giampiero Monguzzi and his wife, on the Scerscen glacier, noticed that all sounds had stopped; even their voices were inaudible. Then they noticed, 200 meters away, a gigantic object on the ice.

Initial estimates are that it had a volume of 1 million M3 and a runout of 5 km.

Due giorni a spasso su e giù sulle cime che coronano il ghiacciaio di Scerscen (gruppo del Bernina). Non abbiamo incontrato nessuno, solo ghiaccio, rocce e nuvole.

Le Alpi sono ancora selvagge e solitarie, basta uscire dai pochi sentieri battuti!
