It's Welsh government policy that 'trans women are women'. The Fawcett Society and other organisations support the inclusion of 'trans women' in the quota for women. What's stopping men taking advantage of the Senedd (Electoral Candiate List) Bill?

They cannot change the rules to bring in self ID and they are not reading the room if they think women will stay silent on this.

There will be a protest outside the Senedd today led by families arguing that Welsh people with learning disabilities and autism need #HomesNotHospitals like all other citizens.

People with a learning disability and/or autism should not be locked up in hospitals. We should be providing appropriate care and supporting those who need it in the community.

Allow us to help. The Senedd doesn't have the legislative competence for the Electoral Candidates Lists Bill. It isn't necessary, will not help women, and is discriminatory on several levels.
