A few months ago we learned MS may be triggered by the Epstein-Barr virus - so a vaccine against EBV might eliminate MS entirely. Now there's evidence the shingles vaccine may cut the risk of dementia. The benefits of vaccination keep going up even as resistance to them does too.

Is it a leap to ask that if we're looking at a clear viral cause, specifically shingles, for a lot of dementia, maybe we shouldn't be encouraging the spread of a virus that can trigger shingles? 😕

Is this a Mandela effect ? I remember when if you'd had chicken pox as a child you didn't get shingles !!
