Over the summer there's always an increase in gardening scams, where rogue traders offer to cut trees, tidy the garden or clear gutters
Rather than dealing with cold callers, find traders who have been vetted by Trading Standards at approvedtrader.scot #ShutOutScammers
⚠️Doorstep scammers may claim to work for the council and ask to enter properties to carry out boiler, gas or water checks.
💡Council workers will only carry out these checks by pre-arranged appointment and will happily show ID when requested! #ShutOutScammers
