आज भी भारतीय सेना के वीर जवान अपने प्राणों की परवाह किए बिना दुनिया के सबसे दुर्गम युद्धस्थल पर पराक्रम और शौर्य की वीर गाथा लिख रहे हैं ।

सियाचिन, काराकोरम पर्वत श्रृंखला में करीब 20,000 फुट की ऊंचाई पर स्थित दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा युद्धक्षेत्र। सालभर यहां बर्फ जमी रहती है और सर्दियों में तापमान माइनस 50 डिग्री तक गिर जाता है।
