At the end of last week, our pupils constructed a ‘mini’ #IronAge hill fort in the woods continuing our work on the #Celts . In English, the pupils have written legends involving terrifying beasts and heroic heroes.

The King’s Hall Book Fair will take place in just over a week on Monday 21st November! There is a growing body of evidence, to illustrate that reading for pleasure has an enormous effect on children’s attainment and well-being.

King's Hall is in spectacular bloom at the moment.
Our grounds team had designated an area beside the Astroturf for #NoMowMay and there is now quite an array of wild meadowland that is encouraging both wild flora and fauna to flourish.

Last Sunday afternoon, our boarders visited the Bear Trail – The children were worried the dry weather meant there would be no mud, however, they were not disappointed and quite literally threw themselves into it!

Recently Year 7 enjoyed their trip to Paignton #Zoo in preparation for their #Ecology topic. They were lucky enough to have a talk about giraffes from one of the zookeepers, and saw an incredible array of wild and exotic animals!

Year 2 have been learning all about dragons and gave a wonderful assembly this afternoon. Their dragon dance, taught by Laura Walker from the Walker Academy, was the stuff of legends! Well done everyone. 😄
