Are women worst affected by migraine?
The EMHA stigma survey showed that 90% of the respondents were women aged 25-64.
Of these, 88% suffered from migraine.

According to the Stigma Survey by the EMHA, 35% of respondents with severe migraine avoid seeking medical advice due to the embarrassment they feel.
The stigma goes as far as preventing them from finding an adequate treatment for their illness.
