“Earlier today, President Biden meeting with…”. That was a sentence tonight on one of the network newscasts. What happened to basic grammar? Also, if the goal is to shorten a sentence, “earlier…Biden met” is shorter than “earlier…Biden meeting.” #TVnewswriting #awful
