Back in 2016, we reported DNA-dependent tetramerization of the glucocorticoid receptor. Its most closely related 'sibling', the mineralocorticoid receptor, appears to be even weirder! Check out this pre-print led by Diego Alvarez de la Rosa and Gordon Hager
