I try to document my experiences objectively, without casting blame - I don’t believe professionals intend to cause harm. CSA is just not spoken about enough in training and most will have no idea of the enormity of what they are ‘looking away’ from.

It’s hard to look back over old reports and see our signs of distress were noted, knowing they were misunderstood or dismissed entirely. #TheFlyingChildProject opens conversations about #CSA and challenges inaction of those who turn away and fail to ask ‘why’.

Planning for our July event - a presentation for headteachers in the South. We will talk about #TheFlyingChildProject and the importance of training. EVERY school will have children who are experiencing #CSA .
We urgently need to raise the conversation.
