#BBNJ side event during #UN EA6 highlighting this major milestone of achieving the BBNJ Agreement last year. A strong message needs to come out from #UN EA6 encouraging rapid ratification by at least 60 #UN member states #UN OC3. #UN EP #UN CLOS High Seas Alliance

France 🇨🇵 is one of the 8️⃣1️⃣ States that have already signed the #BBNJ Treaty on the high seas 🌊 and calls for its prompt entry into force.

Together with Costa Rica 🇨🇷, we will spearhead efforts to better #ProtectOurOcean in the run-up to the #UNOC3 Conference in 2025 in Nice.
