DAS Goldrich met @SNC President Bader Abu Jamous and highlighted the U.S.' unwavering commitment to a democratic & prosperous Syria. He affirmed the Syrian opposition’s integral role in implementing UNSCR 2254 as the framework for a durable political solution to the crisis.

UNSCR 2254 op. para 12 emphasizes rapid, safe & unhindered humanitarian access throughout Syria via direct routes. The US remains the largest provider of humanitarian assistance to the Syrian people & we reiterate our call for access to get aid to the people who need it the most.

Today, DAS Goldrich participated in the Day of Dialogue panel led by European External Action Service - EEAS 🇪🇺 Cappellani. Panelists discussed the need for fulll implementation of UNSCR 2254. The U.S. remains committed to a solution that meets the aspirations of the Syrian people.
