The first picture is me, this past weekend at a mountain ultramarathon, moving up the first 1,300 foot climb. The second picture is how I assume the former fat me is looking at present me.

Last week I led 8 athletes into the desert to run Zion 100 mile ultramarathon

My goal was clear: get everyone across the finish line

And I failed

We did have 3 athletes reach 100 miles...

But 5 athletes ended their journey at mile 51.8

And in my failure, I learned the 4
