L.A. rock/power pop band Crabby Appleton named themselves after a character from the 1950’s cartoon, Tom Terrific. They released two albums on Elektra Records before they broke up. Their best known song “Go Back” was a Top 40 hit in 1970. #VinylTapCurrent
The Main Ingredient’s 4th album ‘Bitter Sweet’ was their first to feature lead singer Cuba Gooding, Sr (dad of actor Cuba Gooding, Jr). “Everybody Plays the Fool” was a major hit in 1972. The song was a hit again in 1991 when it was covered by Aaron Neville. #VinylTapCurrent
