2/3. However, just recently we hosted a very successful event in Central Park. This event saw Peterborough Wicketz youngsters and youngsters from Queens Park Westfield Cricket Club in Bedford compete against each other in two competitive matches.

3/3. Some excellent cricket was played with each team winning 1 match each. Earlier in the day, the youngsters received specialist coaching in preparation for their matches. Man of the match awards and Spirit of Cricket Awards were also awarded to players from both teams.

talkSPORT This is not my experience. Hampshire Cricket put on a great free programme (Wicketz) of community cricket in Southampton & Portsmouth for ages 11-16. The coaching is excellent. I'd say 90% of those kids attending weekly sessions are from minority backgrounds.
