How sad that Thurrock Council celebrated #EarthDay by strimming the remaining long grass on top of last weeks mow, removing all the wildflowers + insects in it.
They've left the grass where they cut it, so it doesn't even look neat,which I assume was the purpose of cutting it!?

I just looked out the window and saw four deer and two geese in the yard! I haven’t seen much wildlife lately so this is a nice surprise. 😊
