“The future of the church is for those who have a bold vision and take risks for the glory of God. We are far too loved to be afraid to fail.”

Johnna Harris ☀️ I did some traveling from 2008-2012 as a worship leader and session musician. Theologically I'm nowhere near the YRR, I'm an Open Theist and Egalitarian, but whenever I did events at Acts29 churches I noticed that 'fraternity/brotherhood' and was drawn to it. It's powerful.

Looking back, books like Radical had a fairly negative effect on me. It was easy for me to come away thinking that the highest form of Christianity is leaving my country to be persecuted and martyred for me faith, and caused me to look down on those who didn't.

This and Acts29 both had the terrible habit of pitting your family against the church.

They were pro-family in so far as it helped you be a better church member.

Tom Buck (Five Point Buck) G3 Ministries Thankful for G3 Ministries and the faithful churches and faithful pastors who sum it up. I still remembering being at seminary and watching the trajectory of organizations like T4G and The Gospel Coalition downward spiral, including Acts 29. Amazing to see what fruit is produced over time.

Léonce B. Crump Jr. Acts 29 Brian Howard Matt Chandler Rodney Hobbs On a more serious note - I've seen it too many times. The temptation to plant using someone elses model, especially when the model is successful, is real. One result is burn out across the board. Nothing wrong in adopting, but we also gotta adapt. What's it called? Contextualize?
