Looking for a way to get Ss engaged with text through movement? Try a Gallery Walk using a collection of artifacts (pictures, infographics, art, student work, etc.) and have ss move around the room to examine & respond through conversation or writing. #adlit

Engage Ss in Writing to Learn opportunities every day to help them organize their thinking, make connections b/t concepts, & practie using key vocabulary. With daily writing, Ss build writing stamina, improve their writing skills, and build their knowledge of content. #adlit

Ask Ss to talk about & share what they have written. Using writing products as the foundation for engagement in Academic Dialouge sends the message that Ss thoughts, ideas, & questions matter. #adlit

It's a great approach to teaching & several ALM strategies are already part of the text-dependent tasks. Collaborative for Teaching and Learning #adlit

AI can really lift the work of lesson planning and PLC time. I got the strategy from AdLit and then made a prompt that aligned with our 5th grade social studies curriculum map. A helpful tool for coaching and easy to create a student resource from the result. #sschat
