In March, I went to the scene where a fire had destroyed some stores in the Akosombo Market. I was stunned by the extent of the destruction.
Tomorrow 9am, I will make some donations to help the victims of the fire outbreak.

In 2007, pastors by their own accord went to pray to God for rain for the Akosombo dam during the power crisis. In 2022, pastors went to inspect galamsey sites and offered prayers as well. Both events have nothing to do with the government.

Sources say Akufo-Addo intentionally ordered the spillage of the Akosombo Dam to flood the people of lower Volta as a payback for not voting for him (The NPP). Wicked!

Earlier today, I visited the Akosombo and Senchi markets in my beloved Asuogyaman Constituency.

At the Akosombo market, I presented a token of GHC1,500.00 to each of the eight (8) victims of the fire outbreak that portions of their shops were destroyed a few weeks ago.

Volta Region flood victims, displaced by VRA's Akosombo Dam spillage, remain in tents 8 months on. We urge the President to act swiftly, mobilize resources, and show compassion by supporting the victims with temporary housing, relief, and compensation during this rainy season

The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has announced that individuals affected by the recent Akosombo Dam spillage can obtain replacement voter ID cards free of charge.

This initiative is set to begin on May 30, 2024.
