Really good tasting of 2005 Clarets tonight at the Mystere Wine Club. My top 3 wines were as follows :
1st Duhart - Milon
2nd Bahans Haut-Brion
3rd Beychevelle.
Best value for me was the Batailley. The Branaire Ducru was corked :(

Left Bank for Lamb. Love Beychevelle

1988 Beychevelle was worth the wait at 30 years old. Balanced wine at 12.5% alcohol. They just don't make them like this anymore but, they should.

Friday night and after much thought and deliberation I am drinking a bottle of 1982 Chateau Beychevelle. Absolutely incredible tasting wine and the amount of time it took to filter and decanter it was worth the wait 😀
