Prior to D-Day General Dwight Eisenhower spent a night in Weston Woods near #WestonSuperMare . He slept in a caravan amongst a cluster of military vehicles close to the water tower (built in 1925) just off the old Kewstoke Toll Road. A #BluePlaque now marks the spot.
