We both use similar X-ray technologies to investigate structures. X-ray images of paintings tell us about condition and changes an artist may have made along the way.

Working with Nottingham Trent University our Scientists use Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), a technique often used to examine the structure of the eye, to study the layers of paintings and guide cleaning.
