PH Cadeby having his teeth checked out by our brilliant dentist, Lynsey from LB Equine Dentistry. It’s so important have these checks to avoid unnecessary issues developing and Lynsey is extremely sympathetic and reassuring with them. After 20 mins he’s back in the field grazing.

1. PH Cadeby (Colin) is improving but still gets quite grumpy at feeding time. It wouldn’t matter if I fed him first, he still pins his ears which is big red flag. He also tries to move into my space, even though the bars are in the way but I’m glad they were.

PH “Colin” Cadeby showed great promise. He’s brave and strong of character. Unfortunately he just didn’t suit the policing life so has left us to join Julie, one of our trainers. He needs a one rider life where he can connect with that special person… and Julie has taken him on.

The final result- a real treat today because it was nearer than I thought, the church was open and the whole place was absolutely immaculate with seating and even a picnic bench.
Well worth a visit!

And another little video of the painting bit of this afternoon. Really enjoyed the chance to spend a few hours soaking up this peaceful place. There's even a picnic table - it's a beautifully kept church

Which elements from the annuals/magazines, such as locomotive characters or locations, you think could work on RWS Sodor?

Was thinking it’d be fun to see more miniature railways on Sodor, aside from the Arlesdale! Things like Cadeby or even Eastbourne would be fun to see!

Rows of daffodils in the green blue sky and a black winding wheel made me think of the mine across the valley that so many walked never to return.
