Earlier this week, I spoke in support of the Carers UK call for the reform of Carers Allowance, including lifting the rate and ending the earnings cliff-edge.

The PM talk of a 'sick-note culture' - language which is inflammatory - is demonisation.

We need to ensure that everybody, regardless of circumstances, is treated with respect.
