Today is my daughter’s Cancerversary. 4 years ago today she had a thyroidectomy due to Papillary Thyroid Cancer. She was 17. Four years later she’s cancer free and a senior in college to become an RN. This girl had come such a long way. I’m one proud Momma.❤️ #checkyourneck

My daughter was diagnosed at age 17 with Thyroid Cancer,& had her thyroid removed. She’s 20 now. Doing great. This came out of nowhere when she was 17. Be sure your kids are getting thyroid checked. More common in girls. #checkyourneck #thyroidawarenessmonth #thyroidcancer
It's #WorldThyroidDay and it would be very remiss of me to not remind all you wonderful people to #CheckYourNeck

My sister finished 6.5 weeks of radiotherapy today; on the last day of Thyroid Cancer awareness month. She was diagnosed at 21 and 3 years later she is still fighting. Working to end the stigma of Thyroid Cancer as the ‘good’ cancer and raise awareness to #checkyourneck 🦋
Sept. is #ThyroidCancer awareness month. I was diagnosed in Feb., had surgery in March, radiation in May. Thyroid cancer isn’t the “good cancer to get.” It sucks, as all cancers do. It’s been a bumpy road and still is. But I’ll always wear this scar proudly! #CheckYourNeck
