Lucky for me, my final session as the Seamus Heaney Centre Queen's University Belfast 🎓 Arts Council of Northern Ireland #childrenswritingfellow was with a group of amazing supported learners at Belfast Met as part of #nationalstorytellingweek2024

The Seamus Heaney Centre #ChildrensWritingFellow Autumn Tour resumed at Kilronan special education school in Magherafelt and the LSU in St Mary’s PS in Maghera where Cora Corry 🇵🇸🇮🇪 joined us! Each child kindly received a book from Mid Ulster Council for such great owls.

As the #WorldCup ends so does the Seamus Heaney Centre #ChildrensWritingFellow Autumn Tour. Across five counties over three months we finished with festive owls and Baby Burpee Bear taking on #Messi in a new story. More to come in 2023!

Last week on the Seamus Heaney Centre #ChildrensWritingFellow Autumn Tour I visited SEN schools & Learning Support Units across co. Tyrone where I discovered 3-eyed owls, beehives and many hugs. Thanks to Mid Ulster Council for giving everyone a book!
