Blaxton Meadow this evening did not disappoint! Finally had an evening free to catch up with the Curlew Sand. Other highlights were Whimbrels, a stunning Dunlin, Stock Doves, Com Sandpipers, Lesser BBG, Greenshanks, Swallows and Curlews. 41sp all in all!

Just about to give up when I saw this Spotted Flycatcher, then realised it was singing and that it wasn't a Flycatcher. Also trip additions Curlew, Greenshank, Little Tern and a flock of 17 Wood Sandpipers. Purring Turtle Dove is always a treat.
