Back out on 1Y11 this morning. Another morning deicing my car, why does it feel like we’re going back into winter 🥶🥶🥶

My advice. If you’re on an airliner that has snow covered wings like this and they’re not deicing. Get off. I could cite dozens of aircraft who haven’t been so lucky and crashed as a result. Pilot colleagues what do you think ? Am I being too precious?

Had a good meeting with my supervisor today. Afterwords rewarded myself by deicing the office fridge. A hammer and flat screwdriver made this pretty fun.

Midway got 18.4 inches of snow this winter over 13 separate snow events, but the CDA Operations team was up to the task! Our 64 full-time Motor Truck Drivers and 109 seasonal drivers kept the airfield clear and escorted airline deicing crews to keep the airport running safely.❄️
