Lovely start to the New Year with sunshine and light winds. A walk up the beach at Eoligarry produced 8 Snow Buntings: they've been scarce here this winter. Went to look for the Rook nearby and was surprised to find 4 of them plus a Carrion Crow, both less than annual on Barra.
