First time catching a #northernyellowbat calls for a picture! This was our first catch of the night and I don’t doubt for a second my earrings brought us the good luck 😉🦇💛 (Finally a species other than #eveningbats !😅) Isn’t he just the cutest mini lion #bat ? 🦁🦇

Last week we mist-netted for #Floridabonnetedbats for 3 nights. We captured 16 #eveningbats from a #maternityroost , 6 Florida bonneted #bats of which we radio collared 5, and found 3 roosts! Also, I collared my first bat ever! 🦇🤍
