Today is the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations OCUFA contract faculty social media day of action for better working conditions for contract faculty and other precariously employed workers in the postsecondary sector. #fairness4cf because #TogetherWeCan

Contract Faculty largely outnumber FT at Brescia (approx 1FT:3CF). This means a majority of our classes are taught by workers who commit themselves to their students, their campuses, & their communities despite their precarity. They deserve fairness. #fairness4CF #OnPSE #CdnPSE

Indigenous, racialized & women post-secondary educators are less likely than their counterparts to hold full-time permanent positions. Universities/colleges meaningfully committed to equity, diversity & inclusion would not undervalue & overwork minoritized employees #Fairness4CF
