Dr. Padam actively engages in community service initiatives. She serves on the board of Rotacare Bay Area, a non-profit that operates nine free medical clinics in the Bay Area. She founded a free medical clinic in San Jose that is now staffed by local physicians.

She has been an advocate for the North state for many years. Doing medical school at UC Davis, and then returning to get home town to complete her residency at Shasta Community Health Center.
