The proposed emergency rule is approved - with no further clarity as to what will happen to the 100's of voters that had already registered using e-signature.

Individuals who print their form at home and use their e-signature will also be rejected.

The argument is that the signature is compared to verify identity at election polls. But the DMV is still going to send e-signature...

Let's be clear - they don't care if people have issues at the polls because if they did, they wouldn't have decreased the number of polling locations across the state. They care about limiting voting.

How do you not prepare for a meeting? If you are making changes and whether or not people who have already submitted will be able to vote, wouldn't you want to understand just how many people would be impacted?

Question from committee: Will the county clerks office receive training to determine if signature is electronic or not? We do know not all pens bleed right?

DMV, Disability and Public Services will be able to continue submitting electronic signatures for voter registrations.
