Then think of 3d printing 20y from now if we invest ourselves like we did in the 80s with video games we will be beyond plastics beyond metals....

hackaday My coworker prints these tools for rolling hoses in the fuel delivery business. (The aluminum is conduit piping)
Hardly a useless trinket! A definite back saver when you have a 30’ hose that you need to drain uphill.
