70 miles of coastline preserved by the National Park Service in 1937. The lighthouse built in 1871 was saved by moving it from 15 ft from the beach to 1,500 ft.
I saw this lighthouse in 2002, but it was closed for climbing. It was beautiful!

We are officially doing boat life! Moved on our newly purchased 1971 53 ft Hatteras! Made a little tour showing off everything but the flybridge. Excited to turn it into our home! Still debating on renaming the boat 'Soggy Bottom' or 'A Little Leaky'. :p
