Self-Esteem and the End of the World, by Luke Healy.

Life is not a race. There are no winners and losers. Immeasurable people are doing better than you…immeasurably worse. You are statistically average.

Month : Diary of a Young Naturalist, by Dara McAnulty.

I would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in the natural world. A really enjoyable read – greatly deserving of all those prize wins.

I've been ill this week and haven't been able to read - so here's one I read a while ago, and my pick for Ireland. I've read all of Sally Rooney's novels, and Normal People is definitely my favourite of them!

Feeling creepy af to have attended my third Sheila Armstrong event in less than a week but hey, read her stories for yourself and you'll know you'd do the same.

After reading about HF book launches in novels, I finally attended one. 📚🤌 Thanks to the staff at Hodges Figgis for offering me accessible seating! Also, I'm already enchanted by Sheila Armstrong's atmospheric landscapes and immersive language.🌊🌫

The author and his book. Renowned Ulster poet, Sam Burnside has produced a triumph of the written word with his debut novel which explores a hidden aspect of The Troubles - reconciliation.

My students are struggling a bit with the brilliant by Anna Burns. Many say they are not understanding anything, but then make great observations about the text and characters.

Class, you are doing far better than you think you are. Keep going!
