Portable in the garden for and hour this morning. Using my M1ECC-Antennas slidewinder coil and mil whip. Perfect weather :-)

My #SlideWinderDX antenna by M1ECC-Antennas is finally in my tiny garden. Only 4 radials as delivered and SWR at 20m - 1.28 👍. First QSO to SP done with good report. Works fine. I will check other bands on better weather (or I'm waiting for the neighbors' reaction, IYKWIM 😉)

A world first! I am pretty sure no one has ever sent an email from here. I sent a couple on #winlink 40m using #ic705 with 5w and the M1ECC-Antennas #slidewinder coil and multi section whip.

GU/GU-001 activated with 5 QSOs conditions not great but managed 2 on 40m and 3 on 20m in just over an hour. Set up my icom_uk #ic705 and M1ECC-Antennas on the patch of grass by Le Moulin and used 5 watts. Very easy to get to.

This works quite well, #IC705 in the icom_uk backpack, and M1ECC-Antennas #slidewinder coil, ground spike and whip in the bag on the side. I will probably look for a decent pannier set so I can also carry camping gear but this will do for now.
