Arj Barker is in the news after a mother and baby were asked to leave for disrupting the show. Last year Melbourne International Comedy Festival I did a show specifically for mothers and babies. After I found out half of the kids were mine, I was the only one who wanted to leave. 😂 #MICF #ArjBarker

His MICF show was at the Athenaeum Theatre, Melbourne, and is pretty explicit.

Hayden ABC posted this comment from the MICF organisers, and honestly I think this is a great solution that parents should be enacting. Sit somewhere that you can discretely step out if your baby becomes disruptive to others. It's the best common courtesy option

I suspect Arj Barker’s show at the Athenaeum was not sold via MICF ticketing (it’s usually a TM venue), but MICF-ticketed events have this in their T&C’s. This isn’t unusual or rocket science. Modern audiences just don’t seem to respect fellow audience members or the performer.
